Frequently asked

A few quick questions.

All answers

What is Spotti?

Spotti is a free GPS navigation app for New York City that helps you find street parking in real time. When a driver is about to leave a spot, they tap “You Leavin’?” to broadcast it, and Spotti routes the next driver there turn by turn. You can also open the app and browse available spots near you on the map without starting navigation. Once you park, Spotti tracks the alternate side and street cleaning rules for your exact block and reminds you before you need to move.

What do I get for sharing my parking spot?

You earn points every time another driver takes a spot you broadcast. Points are redeemable for gift cards.

How do I avoid a street cleaning ticket in NYC?

Spotti tracks the alternate side parking and street cleaning schedule for the exact block where you parked, checks the city’s suspension calendar, and sends you a reminder before the window starts so you do not have to rely on memory or a last-minute 311 check.
